The Number 27

Before we consider the number 27 information, I would like to share the following.

If you are new to endtime prophecy you may not understand the significance of what has been presented on this website. Give it time. On the other hand, if you fall into the well studied category when it comes to the endtimes, I hope that what I have presented here brings further insight into the ways of our Creator.

I have nothing for sale on this website. All files and music can be downloaded for free. I don’t ask for your email address or require you to share other info in order to obtain what has been posted on this website.

All I ask is that you let others know about this website.

Now with that said, here is what I am going to present. From Genesis to Revelation I am going to share various times that the number 27 has been used in connection with the ending of an old order (leadership) and the establishing of a new order (leadership) by God.  And after all, isn't this exactly what Jesus is going to do when he establishes his kingdom on earth and we rule and reign with him? End the old system and begin a new one.

Keep in mind that I am not a prophet and I am not so much trying to set a date as to the return of Jesus as I am trying to just ask: What if? And, I am just trying to show that regardless of the significance of the number 27, God does work in patterns and numbers in His dealing with mankind.

Therefore keep in mind, I am simply an endtime researcher. I gather facts and I present facts. What you do with the facts presented on this website is totally up to you.

Here is an observation I would like to share before you continue reading. While the Bible is the inspired word of God, the chapter numbers and verse numbers are not....... or are they? Could God have moved upon the minds of men to divide the Bible up into chapter numbers and verse numbers? Just a question. All I know is that there are some very interesting correlations between the number 27 and  Bible chapters and verses of that same number, as you will soon see.

Now on to the number 27 information.

1. God created mankind on the 6th day in verse 27.

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

2. Noah went forth on 2/27 from the Ark to have dominion on the earth.

Genesis 8:14

And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. 15 And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

Genesis 9

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

3. Luke 3:23 Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. In 27 ad, at age 30 years old, Jesus began his earthly ministry, taking authority over the kingdom of darkness, working miracles and proclaiming the kingdom of God.

4. After his resurrection, Jesus appeared numerous times to his disciples for 40 days. On the 40th day, 2/27 (Iyar 27) after commissioning his disciples, he left the earth.

Acts The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach ,2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Once again, the day that Jesus ascended back to heaven and gave authority to his disciples to go into the world empowered by the Holy Spirit that they would soon receive, was 2/27 (Iyar 27 on the Hebrew Calendar).

5. Jesus started his earthly ministry in 27AD. In the year 2027, it will have been 2000 years since then.

As mentioned above, Jesus left this earth in the hands of his disciples and future generations of his followers on 2/27 (Iyar 27).

Will he return on the same day that he left, 2/27 (Iyar 27) 2027? Just for your information, Iyar 27th in the Hebrew calendar year of 5787 equals our Gregorian calendar date of June 3rd, 2027. Just another interesting tidbit concerning the Hebrew year of 5787. When you add the individual numerals together they equal 27.  5+7+8+7 = 27.

9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

*** Here is a very interesting 3 page insight into how God uses numbers to reveal timelines when events are going to happen. This is concerning the numbers 1290 & 1335 (found in Daniels prophecy chapter 12 and the correlation to the year 2027). Click Here to open the PDF file.

6. Revelation 2:27

We shall rule the nations with a rod of iron at the coming of Jesus and the establishing of his earthly kingdom.

7. Revelation 21:27

Only those written in the book of life will be able to enter into the new Jerusalem.

8. There are 27 books in the New Testament. The 27th and last book is Revelation. The last 27 words of that book says: ‘He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.'

9. The book of Daniel is the 27th book in the Old Testament. In chapter two and verse twenty seven (2:27) Daniel begins interpreting the dream of the king, which reveals the coming kingdom of Jesus on earth. Just a coincidence?

10. Genesis 27

Leadership changing as Isaac passes on birthright to Jacob

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were key Old testament generational leaders used by God to keep His covenant promise alive. The fulfillment of that covenant will become a reality at the second coming of Jesus.

11. Exodus 27

Ark of the Covenant construction.

The Ark of the Covenant was a sacred chest built by the Israelites, under exact specifications given to them by God. It included a pledge by God that he would dwell among his people and give them guidance from the mercy seat on the top of the Ark. The Ark was an important foreshadowing of Jesus Christ as the sole place of atonement for sins. In the Old Testament, the Ark was the only place believers could go (through the high priest) to have their sins forgiven. In the New Testament, Christ replaced the Ark becoming the only way to salvation and the kingdom of heaven.

12. Leviticus 26-27

These are the commandments which the LORD commanded Moses to give to the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

Moses was a type of Christ in that he was the typical Redeemer of the Old Covenant. He was the only other Mediator between God and His people in redemptive history; and though his mediation was also typical, He stood in the most unique position as the redeemer and lawgiver of the Covenant people. Jesus is THE Mediator between God and man–since He is both God and man. Just as Moses had a supernatural deliverance at his birth, so did Jesus. Just as Moses led Israel out of Egypt, into the wilderness, up on the mountain to give them the law, so Jesus went down into Egypt, up from Egypt, through the water, into the wilderness and up on the mountain to give God’s people the law. Jesus leads His people out of bondage to Satan, sin and death through His own “exodus” (Luke 9:31) in His death and resurrection.

13. Numbers 27

Leadership changing from Moses to Joshua.

Moses was soon to die and Joshua would now be leading the Israelites into the promised land. Joshua was of course a shadow and type of Jesus leading us into our promised land to rule and reign with him when he returns.

14. Deuteronomy 27

Instruction from Moses to new generation going into the Promised land

Once again, Moses was soon to die and Joshua would now be leading the Isrealites into the promised land. Joshua was of course a shadow and type of Jesus leading us into our promised land to rule and reign with him when he returns.

The 27th time that Joshua’s name is mentioned in the Old Testament, Joshua is leading the Israelites into the Promised land. Once again, Joshua was a shadow and type of Jesus leading us into our promised land to rule and reign with him when he returns.

15. 27 Generations from David to Jesus

Matthew 1:1-17

1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat

Aram;

4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to

Babylon:

12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

Interesting that Jesus, at age 30, began his earthly ministry in 27ad.

Are all the above 15 points just a coincidence? Can you see how they are all associated somehow with the appointing of new leadership being established?  Click here for a chronological order chart of the above 15 points.

27 And The Connection To The Earth, Moon and Sun

The diameter of the moon is .272 times that of the earth — approximately 27%.

The moon orbits the earth every 27 days.

On average the sun rotates on its axis every 27 days.

The pressure at the core of the earth is around 27,000 tons per square inch (~370 gigapascals).

The earths surface is 72% saltwater, 1% fresh water and 27% land.

Accounting for leap years and measuring a year as 365.25 days, there are 31,557,600 seconds in a year. The sum of those numbers ( 3 + 1 + 5 + 5 + 7 + 6 + 0 + 0 ) is 27.

In the Bible’s Book of Genesis, God creates humans from the dust of the earth in the 27th verse: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (from the 27% of the earth that is land).
